По опубликованным вчера на российском сайте Samsung данным Blu-ray компании занимают в этом году лидирующие позиции на мировом рынке.

Практически каждый третий проданный в России и в США с января по сентябрь Blu-ray плеер произведен Samsung. в Европе каждый четвертый покупатель предпочитает Samsung. С брендом Samsung продана почти половина плееров в Латинской Америке, а в Корее - 63%.

Samsung стал лидером на мировом рынке в 2006 году, когда выпустил первый в мире Blu-ray плеер. В прошлом году компания представила самый тонкий Blu-ray плеер толщиной всего 39 мм. В нынешнем году Samsung опередил конкурентов, первым представив 3D Blu-ray плеер.

«Мы приложим все усилия, чтобы первыми на рынке еще минимум два года», — сказал Сан Хо Юн (Sung-ho Jun), старший вице - президент подразделения Visual Display компании Samsung Electronics.
