<div align="center"><!--TBegin--><a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2010-12/1292166266_samspls.jpg" onclick="return hs.expand(this)" ><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2010-12/thumbs/1292166266_samspls.jpg" alt='Новая LCD технология Samsung будет называться PLS' title='Новая LCD технология Samsung будет называться PLS'  /></a><p class="thumb_enlarge"><img src="/engine/skins/images/enlarge.png" width="16" height="16" border="0">Кликните на картинку для ее увеличения</p><!--TEnd--></div><br /><br />Компания Samsung разработала новую технологию производства LCD панелей, которая будет называться PLS и должна улучшить ряд параметров, по которым проигрывает конкурентам используемая сегодня компанией технология PVA.<br /><br />Новая технология производства жидкокристаллических панелей Samsung основана на популярной технологии IPS (In Plane Switching), которая используется в телевизорах LG и Panasonic, позволяя добиваться  очень высоких показателей динамической контрастности и широких углов обзора.<br /><br />Samsung заявляет, что дисплеи на основе панелей PLS (Plane to Line Switching) будут обладать теми же характеристиками, что и дисплеи на основе IPS, но будут иметь при этом на 10% повышенную, в сравнении с диcплеями LG, яркость и даже более широкие углы обзора. <br /><br />Ранее Samsung многие годы утверждал о супер высоких характеристиках своих PVA и Super PVA панелей, в сравнении с используемыми в дисплеях конкурентов IPS панелями. Но видимо последние достижения дисплеев на основе IPS заставили стратегов из Samsung изменить свое мнение.<br /><br />Массовое производство PLS панелей Samsung планирует начать уже в следующем году, первоначально для портативной техники, а затем и для HDTV.<br />
