Сейчас разработчики компании работают над новой гибридной 3D технологией, которая по возможностям находится между сегодняшней 3D и голографической технологией будущего.<br /><br />Первые испытания уже проведены на серийной PS3. Но возможности новой разработки таковы, что потянут на появление PS4. Пока трудно увидеть что-то конкретное в завуалированных объяснениях официальных лиц компании. Но, похоже, что в PS4 будет что-то аналогичное недавно запатентованной 3D технологии Apple. На эту мысль наталкивает наличие в системе 3D воспроизведения камеры отслеживающей положение зрителя и ориентацию его взгляда.<br /><br />Sony разрабатывает еще несколько новых технологий для 3D игр, которые могут стать реальностью через пару лет.
