Система имеет разнообразные функции просмотра и поиска, позволяющие сортировать содержимое по заголовку, актерам, режиссерам, жанру, году выпуска или продолжительности просмотра/звучания. <br /><br />Cinema One относится к двух зонным медиасерверам, т.е. может одновременно обслуживать два разных помещения.  Например, в одну комнату может передаваться фильм, а в другую музыкальный концерт. Объем встроенной памяти нового медиасервера Kaleidescape позволяет хранить до 225 DVD дисков и 2500 CD.<br /><br />К недостаткам Cinema One можно отнести отсутствие встроенного Blu-ray плеера и, несмотря на то, что это самая дешевая модель, довольно высокую стоимость, в Канаде и CША Cinema One продается почти за $5000.
