Сетевое TV уже активно развивается в Америке, Google недавно запустил Google TV, а компания Apple  – Apple TV 2.0.<br /><br />Теперь и Microsoft, как явный лидер на рынке компьютерных технологий, спешит предложить свою концепцию интернет телевидения. Компания планирует создать свой собственный потоковый интернет сервис на основе игровой консоли Xbox 360. Microsoft уже инвестировала серьезные средства в разработку различных веб телесервисов и собирается интегрировать в свою платформу различные социальные сети типа Facebook. А система Microsoft Kinect, разработанная компанией для игровой консоли,  позволит без пульта, языком жестов управлять функциями телевизора и навигацией в сети.<br />
