Sony, Nikon и Sandisk разрабатывают супер флэш-карту


Специалисты компаний Sony, Nikon и Sandisk под эгидой ассоциации CompactFlash совместными усилиями разрабатывают новое поколение высокоскоростной карты памяти, которая сможет обеспечить скорость до 550 мегабайт в секунду, а емкость до 2 терабайт.

В настоящее время идет работа над созданием и согласованием технических условий для производства – спецификации, на основании которой любой производитель сможет производить подобные карты на основе собственной технологии и возможностей производства.

В качестве основы для интерфейса выбран скоростной PCI Express, вместо используемого сейчас в картах PATA, который долгое время был также и основным интерфейсом для жестких дисков предыдущего поколения, максимально возможная скорость обмена которого составляет 167 МБ/сек.

Основное применение новые карты памяти найдут в профессиональной видео/фото аппаратуре, позволят записывать большие объемы информации и, что очень важно, обеспечат возможность записи несжатых фотографий высокого разрешения и видеофайлов.
