Sony начинает продажи нового поколения встраиваемых пишущих Blu-Ray приводов с поддержкой 3D формата видеозаписи. Sony BWU-500S идеально подходят для замены стандартных DVD приводов.

Sony BWU-500S, BDX-S500 могут писать однослойные диски на скорости до 12X и двухслойные на скорости до 8X, запись полного диска 25 Гб займет 10 минут. Новые приводы позволяют записывать на Blu-ray диски до 50 ГБ данных для резервного копирования с выборочным доступом к сохраняемым данным. На 50 ГБ диск можно записать до 220 минут видео высокого разрешения в формате MPEG-4 AVC/H 264 с битрейтом 24 Мбит/с.

Sony BWU-500S, BDX-S500 поступят в продажу уже в этом месяце, но стоимость пока не заявлена.
