В разработке материала для OLED панелей участвовала компания Pioneer. Mitsubishi заявляет, что может собрать экран любого  размера. <br /><br />Mitsubishi Diamond Vision в сравнении с LCD дисплеями имеет повышенную в два раза контрастность, а яркость позволяет устанавливать его в залитых солнцем помещениях. Правда смотреть на такой дисплей лучше с расстояния более 2 метров, иначе будут заметны отдельные пикселы размером 3 мм.<br />Заказчиками Mitsubishi Diamond Vision будут крупные компании и учреждения, стоимость этого экрана составляет $400 000.<br />
