Как известно представленный в начале этого года проект Google TV предполагает расширенный доступ через телевизионные приемники к расположенным в интернет медиа сервисам.<br /><br />Для реализации своей затеи компания Goole скооперировалась с рядом известных провайдеров интернет контента и производителей электроники. Для получения доступа к новой медиа платформе в интернет будет нужен или специальный телевизор или Google приставка к обычной модели. Google телевизор демонстрировала на завершившейся выставке IFA 2010 японская Sony, а Google приставку под названием Revue уже готова предложить другая известная компания Logitech.<br /><br />C самого начала в проекте участвует крупнейший в мире производитель электронных чипов американская компания Intel. Уже сейчас многие производители телевизоров демонстрируют свою заинтересованность в Google TV. А в случае коммерческого успеха затеи Google, их ряды серьезно пополнятся.   <br /><br />Всемирный доступ к платформе Google TV будет открыт в течение следующего года и, что приятно должен быть бесплатным.
