Компания Samsung была признана ассоциацией европейских журналов по аудио/видео технике (European Imaging and Sound Association) лучшей в пяти номинациях. Лучшими в частности были признаны Blu-ray плеер Samsung и 3D решение Samsung.

Blu-ray плееры Samsung BD C8900/8900s обладают расширенным набором функциональных возможностей, имеют встроенные тюнеры для приема эфирного или спутникового телевидения. Встроенный жесткий диск на 500 гигабайт вмещает до 136 часов видеозаписей в высоком разрешении. BD-C8900 имеет встроенный модуль Wi-Fi и слот CI+.

Другой лауреат система домашнего 3D театра в составе 3D LCD телевизора UE46C8700 и акустической системы HT-C6930W.
