Видео разрешение  1080p/24 кадра в секунду дополняется поддержкой 36 битной технологии Deep Colour. Видео стандартного разрешения автоматически масштабируется до разрешения 1080p. Совместимость с HDMI 1.4a обеспечивает беспроблемную передачу 3D контента. <br /><br />Флагманские модели SC-LX83 и SC-LX73 оснащены усилителем Direct Energy HD, позволяющим воспроизводить полный динамический диапазон несжатого звука высокого разрешения. Четвертое поколение мощных высококачественных усилителей обеспечивают мощный звук с минимумом искажений.  Выходная мощность усилителя  SC-LX83 составляет 770 ватт на каждый из семи каналов.<br /><br />Фирменные технологии Pioneer улучшают звук с Blu-ray дисков. Система Phase Control Technology значительно улучшает многоканальное звуковоспроизведение. Ресиверы совместимы со всеми основными типами интерфейсов, поддерживают все популярные аудио/видео форматы, обеспечивают воспроизведение музыки через Bluetooth, а через Ethernet соединение интернет радио, могут управляться с iPhone/iPod. Улучшить воспроизведение через Bluetooth призвана технология Sound Retriever Air.<br /><br />Все модели представлены в черном корпусе с алюминиевой передней панелью (кроме VSX-2020) и голубой LED подсветкой дисплея.
