На предстоящей осенью в Германии выставке IFA 2010 японская Toshiba собирается демонстрировать свою флагманскую модель – 3D телевизор CELL-TV.

В этом LCD телевизоре применена LED подсветка, но не боковая, как принято сегодня у многих производителей сверхтонких моделей, а прямая с использованием технологии местного затемнения и разбитая на 512 зон, что обеспечивает высокую динамическую контрастность в 9 000000:1. Телевизоры Toshiba CELL-TV будут способны в режиме реального времени конвертировать обычное видео в 3D формат. Для записи телепрограмм и фильмов имеется встроенный жесткий диск. Сверхмощный видеопроцессор обеспечивает качественную обработку цифрового контента, телевизор поддерживает все современные интерфейсы, встроенная звуковая панель позволяет получить компактный домашний театр.

И основное, что хотелось бы еще узнать, это стоимость таких LCD моделей, которая пока еще не заявлена.
