Южнокорейская компания Displaybank, занимающаяся исследованиями рынкa дисплеев и солнечных элементов, заявила о том, что к 2013 году 86% плазменных телевизоров будут оснащаться 3D технологией.

Как утверждают специалисты Displaybank, 3D технология будет более активно внедряться в плазменные дисплеи, потому что они обладают относительно меньшим фактором увеличения стоимости и к 2013 году плазменные 3D телевизоры будут доступны и более привлекательны для широких слоев населения, в сравнении с LCD телевизорами.

В настоящее время наиболее широкий модельный ряд плазменных телевизоров у Panasonic, есть все размеры экранов, начиная с 40 дюймов. Samsung производит лишь 50, 58 и 63 дюймовые плазмы, а LG - 50 и 60 дюймовые.
