Разработкой собственных плоскопанельных жидкокристаллических моделей  с 3D технологией занимается специализирующаяся на электронике дочерняя компания Hitachi Consumer Electronics.<br /><br />Новые телевизоры Hitachi будут отличаться от моделей уже освоивших 3D технологию компаний Panasonic , Sony, Sharp, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Samsung  и LG повышенным разрешением в режиме 3D. <br />Подробностей об особенностях 3D решений Hitachi не сообщается. Но подобная технология повышенного разрешения будет использоваться в представляемых в июне телевизорах. Модели с 3D функциональностью появятся в конце года.
