Решение от Tuxera Inc. позволит проигрывателям Dune 3.0 полноценно работать с носителями информации, отформатированными в этой популярной файловой системе, -- считывать, а также записывать данные. Немаловажен и тот факт, что новый драйвер NTFS обладает весьма завидными скоростными характеристиками.<br /><br />Напомним, что ранее медиаплееры Dune третьего поколения поддерживали лишь стандартный для платформы Sigma Designs набор файловых систем, обеспечивая чтение и запись в FAT, EXT2, EXT3 и только чтение в NTFS. Теперь, после интеграции нового драйвера NTFS, все ограничения на работу с HDD, отформатированными под операционными системами семейства Windows, будут сняты.<br /><br />После выхода прошивки с новым драйвером, владельцы проигрывателей Dune 3.0 смогут:<br />- Беспрепятственно подключать к плееру жёсткие диски, размеченные в NTFS, копировать, переносить и удалять файлы, создавать директории, полноценно управлять данными на носителе, используя для этого пульт дистанционного управления плеером.<br />- Копировать с ПК файлы на подключённый к плееру NTFS-диск по сети, используя протоколы FTP и SMB.<br />- Записывать на подключённый к плееру NTFS-диск программы IPTV (в будущем: Internet Radio, Digital TV и т. п.)<br />- Закачивать на подключённый к плееру NTFS-диск файлы, используя встроенный торрент-клиент.<br />- Подключать к ПК с ОС Windows и плееру Dune один и тот же NTFS-диск без установки дополнительных драйверов поддержки файловых систем.<br /><br />Новый драйвер NTFS будет интегрирован в одну из очередных версий прошивки в самое ближайшее время. Данный функционал будет доступен как для модели Dune BD Prime 3.0, так и для Dune HD Base 3.0. Важно заметить, что и пользователи указанных выше плееров, которые приобрели их ранее, смогут пользоваться новым драйвером NTFS без каких-либо дополнительных финансовых затрат.
