<div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2010-05/1275107974_bbc.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='BBC не будет поддерживать 3D' title='BBC не будет поддерживать 3D' /></div><br />На фоне периодически появляющихся из разных стран сообщений от пресс служб телекомпаний о развитии вещания в 3D формате  диссонансом прозвучало мнение Даниэлы Наглер - главы отдела HD вещания всемирно известной британской телекорпорации ВВС.<br /><br />BBC предполагает, что производимый сегодня тип домашних 3D-кинотеатров может быть лишь данью моде, и что нынешняя популярность 3D формата может иметь пагубные последствия для видео высокого разрешения. Необходимо убедиться в долгосрочной перспективе развития данного формата, прежде чем принимать решение о его поддержке. А в настоящее время корпорация не имеет даже отдаленных планов по созданию специализированного канала 3D телепередач.<br /><br />В тоже время BBC изучает возможности новой технологии и имеет несколько проектов с ее использованием: Street Dance 3D, BBC Films и телетрансляции со спортивных арен. В 3D формате будут засняты события Лондонских Олимпийских Игр.
