Вчера Samsung обнародовал намерение включить в свои видеоплееры, телевизоры и другую электронику для потребительского рынка технологию Microsoft PlayReady.

Технология PlayReady разработана Microsoft для обеспечения защиты и доступа к цифровому контенту. PlayReady может использоваться для файлов любого типа, включая видео, аудио, изображения и игры, поддерживает форматы: MPEG Advanced Audio Coding (AAC), AAC+, Enhanced AAC+, H.264, Windows Media Audio и Windows Media Video.

Использование PlayReady упростит и расширит доступ к защищенным цифровым видеоматериалам. Первые модели видеотехники и телефонов с поддержкой PlayReady ожидаются уже в этом году.
