В них, также как и в уже популярных плоских телевизорах Quatron, к трем традиционным первичным цветам (красный, зеленый, синий) добавляется желтый, что позволяет добиться улучшенной цветопередачи.<br /><br />Технология  Quatron оптимизирована для 3D просмотра в активных очках. Телевизоры будут отличаться повышенной яркостью (необходимой в 3D режиме) и пониженным уровнем перекрестных искажений (присущих телевизорам Samsung). Добиться этого удалось за счет использования фирменной технологии Sharp - UV2A.<br /><br />3D телевизоры Sharp Quatron первоначально появятся нынешним летом на японском рынке.<br />
