Этот телевизор отличается повышенным количеством светодиодов для подсветки LCD матрицы.<br /><br />Светодиоды располагаются непосредственно за экраном, в 55-ти дюймовой модели их 1 200 штук. Толщина новых телевизоров не превышает 22,3 мм, а внешняя рамка экрана лишь 16 мм. Удалось достичь динамической контрастности 10 000 000:1, технология TruMotion позволяет сменять экранную картинку с частотой 480 Гц, поддерживается разделение экрана на несколько зон. <br /><br />Телевизоры LX9500 имеют встроенный Skype и беспроводной интерфейс, оснащены функцией NetCastTM для приема потокового видео из интернет. Совместимость с DLNA устройствами обеспечивается через опциональный адаптер. Акустическая система телевизоров состоит из трех динамиков мощностью 10+10+5 ватт. LX9500 комплектуются активными очками с аккумулятором, перезаряжаемым через USB порт. Одной зарядки хватает на 40 часов непрерывного просмотра.  <br /><br />Серия LX9500 будет включать модели с диагональю экрана 47 и 55 дюймов. Первые продажи начнутся в Корее, а в начале мая телевизоры появятся и в других странах, в том числе в России. Начальная цена  LX9500 на корейском рынке составляет $4100, сюда входит стоимость двух пар активных очков.<br />
