По данным от международного аналитического агентства DisplaySearch объем продаж телевизоров в 2009 году увеличился на 2% и достиг 211 млн. штук. Лидеры пока прежние - Samsung и LG, вслед за ними идет великолепная японская тройка: Sony, Panasonic и Sharp. По росту объемов продаж в последнем квартале 2009 года лучший показатель у Sony – 43%, а по итогам годовых продаж вперед вырвался Sharp с 23% приростом. У Panasonic самые ровные показатели, тем не менее за счет небольшого снижения темпов прироста в 4 квартале итоговый результат за 2009 год ушел в минус на 3%.
