Правда, Sony BDP-S470 за $200 пока только Blu-ray 3D-ready. Полноценным 3D плеером он сможет стать летом, когда выйдет для него новая прошивка. Другой приятной новостью стало заявление, что на основе этой прошивки можно будет модернизировать до уровня 3D и ряд ранее купленных моделей.<br /><br />3D апгрейд будет доступен для плеера BDP-S570 и двух дорогих моделей из системы домашнего театра - BDV-E770W и BDV-E570.<br /><br />Все плееры позволяют масштабировать DVD видео в формат full HD, оснащены USB портом и декодерами системы Dolby – TrueHD и DTS-HD. При подключении к  интернет доступны BD-Live и  BRAVIA Internet Video.<br />
