Компания имеет теперь  в своем ассортименте 15 дюймовый дисплей и не собирается останавливаться на достигнутом. В планах на текущий год освоение 20 дюймовых, в 2011 году – 30 дюймовых и 40 дюймовые OLED телевизоры LG появятся в 2012 году. Основная особенность OLED технологии использование для подсветки органических светодиодов, в результате чего дисплеи получаются тоньше (до 3 мм), контрастнее, ярче и дороже. Кроме того намного более экономичнее (примерно на 40%). Органические диоды, по сравнению со стандартными, отличаются меньшим временем отклика.
