Mitsubishi представила новый LED HDTV дисплей

Компания Mitsubishi представила свой самый большой на сегодняшний день LCD дисплей с использованием LED технологии - светодиодной подсветки экрана, диагональ которого составляет 149 дюймов.
Конструктивно этот гигант состоит из десяти отдельных панелей с общим разрешением 3264х1920 и яркостью в 150 кандел/кв. метр. Каждая из десяти панелей может отображать как отдельную картинку, так и часть общей. Представленный дисплей получился более ярким и тонким, в сравнении с существующими LCD дисплеями. Вопрос лишь в его стоимости и востребованности. Как известно, LED LCD дисплеи пока дороже стандартных жидкокристаллических на основе люминесцентных ламп.
