Это одночиповое устройство под названием BCM70015 призвано решить одну из главных проблем мобильных компьютеров – слабую работу с графикой и видео. Кстати, обратим внимание, что новый чип появился сразу после анонса Intel своей новой “атомной” платформы Pine Trail.<br /><br />Новый Crystal HD видеоакселератор от Broadcom представляет собой мультимедийный сопроцессор, способный справляться с воспроизведением Full HD видео в качестве 1080p. Правда, из информации, представленной в анонсе, до конца неясно, чем именно новый чип отличается от своего предшественника. Вероятно, новый сопроцессор Broadcom BCM70015 будет представлен в двух формах – в виде интегрированного решения, встроенного в материнскую плату, а также как отдельная PCIe карта. При этом последний вариант можно будет подключать к практически любому ноутбуку с открытым слотом.<br /><br />Сообщается также, что новый чип Broadcom BCM70015 поддерживает работу с Windows Media Player 12, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 и другими программными медиаплеерами. Кроме того, поддерживается воспроизведение Blu-ray контента, а также множество форматов видео, включая H.264/AVC, MPEG-2, VC-1, WMV9, MPEG-4, DivX, Xvid и AVS.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
