Тем не менее, именно Kodak стояли у истоков создания технологии OLED, которой ныне прочат большое будущее в секторе рынка современных плоскопанельных телевизоров и компьютерных мониторов.<br /><br />Несколько дней тому назад, представители Kodak официально заявили, что передают все свои патенты, относящиеся к технологии OLED, компании LG Electronics. Подробности сделки пока не разглашаются. Известно лишь, что одно из основных условий соглашения – беспрепятственный свободный доступ к объединённому портфелю патентов для обеих компаний. Судя по всему, это позволит компании LG Electronics наладить производство OLED-дисплеев больших диагоналей заметно раньше, нежели прогнозировалось.
