В заявлении компании сказано, что LG Display начала производство 23-дюймовых LCD-панелей, работающих на базе собственных закрытых технологий и стандартов компании.<br /><br />Сообщается, что новые телевизоры обладают повышенной яркостью, необходимой для трехмерного видео, а также работают с видео в качестве HD. "Новые 3D-панели обладают всеми характеристиками традиционных современных плазменных телевизоров, вдобавок к этому они будут работать в трехмерном режиме", - говорят в LG Display.<br /><br />Конкретных подробностей о технических деталях продукта производитель не предоставляет, но известно, что в основе трехмерной технологии лежит принцип незначительной временной задержки сигнала, а также изомерическая передача картинки для отдельного восприятия левым и правым глазом зрителя. Производитель отмечает, что трехмерный режим является опциональным и по умолчанию телевизор работает в классическом 2D.<br /><br />В корейской компании также обращают внимание на два основных преимущества новых телевизоров: во-первых, они не требуют для работы специальных стереоочков, вредных для глаз, а во-вторых, компания надеется уже в ближайшее время намерена продавать 3D-панели по ценам лишь немного превышающим стоимость обыкновенных 2D-панелей последнего поколения.
