Компания TEAС объявила о выпуске нового комбинированного Blu-ray-привода в формате slim, предназначенного для установки преимущественно в ноутбуки. Модель получила индекс BD-C24SS-A. Как следует из спецификации, новинка способна читать диски всех популярных типов: CD, DVD и Blu-ray, в том числе и их записываемых вариаций. При этом запись может осуществляться только на «болванки» форматов CD и DVD.

По заявлению производителя, привод поддерживает технологию, предотвращающую опустошение буфера при записи, имеет клавишу экстренного выброса диска, а также может быть установлен как горизонтально, так и вертикально. Более подробные характеристики устройства доступны ниже:
