Новинка имеет диагональ в 1,6 дюйма. Её физическое разрешение равно 4096х2160 точек, что в четыре раза больше, чем у стандарта Full HD. Кроме того, новая матрица поддерживает фирменную технологию Epson C2Fine, призванную улучшить качество изображения, его контрастность и глубину чёрного цвета.<br /><br />Также в компании Epson сообщили, что первые проекторы с матрицами 4K собственного производства будут вживую показаны на выставке BEE 2009.
