Тем не менее, особо страждущие заполучить самую скоростную на текущий момент в мире Blu-ray «писалку» имеют такой шанс.<br /><br />На днях компания OWC дополнила внушительный модельный ряд внешних записываемых приводов Mercury Pro новинкой, позволяющей записывать диски Blu-ray на скорости 12х. О марке используемого привода не сообщается, хотя догадаться не сложно. Кроме Pioneer на сегодняшний день никто более не анонсировал таких приводов. Помимо скоростных характеристик, новинка OWC может похвастать четырьмя встроенными интерфейсами для подключения к персональному компьютеру: FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0 и eSATA.<br /><br />Владельцу привода OWC, конечно, придётся попотеть в поисках записываемых дисков, совместимых с такой скоростью. В любом случае, если не удастся это сделать сейчас – уж точно удастся в будущем. Купить устройство можно уже сейчас в США по цене $349 за «голую» версию и $499 за комплект с программой для «прожига» болванок Roxio Toast Titanium PRO.\<br />
