Для звука предусмотрена совместимость с Dolby Digital и Dolby Digital Plus. Помимо прочего, стоит отметить наличие сетевого протокола MoCA, при помощи которого можно организовать мультизонную конфигурацию, а также запись данных. Дизайн устройства, по утверждению производителя, предусматривает как установку, так и подвес DCX700 на стену.<br /><br />Появление данной приставки у провайдеров кабельного телевидения ожидается  в самом ближайшем времени.
