Поэтому неудивительно, что многие сетевые медиаплееры предоставлят доступ к этому сайту за счет специального он-лайн сервиса YouTube.com, — комментирует Евгений Земсков, руководитель департамента продуктового менеджмента Представительства BBK Electronics в России. — Нашей задачей стала реализация плагина именно для русскоговорящей аудитории: новый сервис в основном работает с русскоязычным контентом видеохостинга.<br /><br />Для плагина YouTube создан специальный интерфейс, с помощью которого можно вывести на экран самые популярные ролики, последние загруженные видеосюжеты, видео в HD качестве и прочее. Кроме того, пользователи могут смотреть видеоленты популярных телеканалов, таких как НТВ, МузТВ, ТНТ и др.<br /><br />Портал Интернет-сервисов PopcornTV насчитывает на данный момент девять плагинов, которые — помимо русской версии видеохостинга Youtube — предоставляют пользователям сетевого HDTV медиаплеера доступ к следующим Интернет-ресурсам: Яндекс.Фотки, Russia.ru, on-line радиостанциям, трекеру torrents.ru, игре «Виртуальный миллионер» и Интернет-сообществу российских подкастеров Russian Podcasting (Rpod.ru).
