Тем не менее, стоит отметить имевший место успех этих непрофильных для компании плееров (первого поколения, конечно), как в мире в целом, так и в России в частности. Конечно, успех этот определяется исключительной дешевизной оборудования.<br /><br />Согласно данным компании производителя, новый проигрыватель позаимствовал у своего предшественника порт USB для подключения внешних носителей информации и порт HDMI для подключения к телевизору. И приобрёл дополнительно встроенную сетевую плату Ethernet (RJ-45), а также сертификат DLNA и поддержку Bonjour.<br /><br />У WDTV второй версии, как и у предшественника, отсутствует встроенный жёсткий диск, и нет возможности его установить в корпус устройства. Согласно паспортным данным, плеер поддерживает воспроизведение видеофайлов с разрешением 1080p и совместим с такими форматами аудио и видео, как AAC, MP3, JPEG и H.264/AVCHD. Звуковые форматы пространственного звучания Dolby Digital и DTS также распознаются плеером корректно. Из дополнительных возможностей отметим возможность просмотра роликов с YouTube, фотографий с Flickr и радио с Pandora. Ничего особенного, как обычно, кроме стоимости...<br /><br />На днях новинка появилась на Best Buy по цене в 120 долларов США.
