На этот раз амбициозный японский производитель аудио- и видеотехники решил публично заявить о технологическом и «пиарном» паритете с компаниями Toshiba и Panasonic, представив на суд посетителей выставки свой первый 56-дюймовый 2К4К-дисплей TRIMASTER SRM-L560 с физическим разрешением 3840&#215;2160 точек, что в четыре раза превышает требования стандарта Full HD 1080p.<br /><br />Как и все современные дорогие ЖК-дисплеи, SRM-L560 имеет светодиодную подсветку и обладает широкими углами обзора — 176 градусов по вертикали и горизонтали. Судя по дизайну и минималистскому оснащению, новинка Sony предназначена, скорее, для профессионального использования, чем домашнего. Об этом свидетельствует наличие сенсора для автоматического определения эталонной температуры цвета, что крайне важно для профессиональных мониторов, теряющих с годами оптимальные настройки, а также пакета ПО для настройки дисплея посредством ПК.<br /><br />Среди особенностей отметим возможность разбиения экрана на 4 равных части, где каждый блок будет иметь полноценное 1080p-изображение, или на 2 части с разрешением 2048х1080 точек на блок соответственно. Помимо стандартных цифровых портов HDMI, DVI и разъёма VGA, Sony комплектует дисплей переходниками для подключения аппаратуры HD-SDI и SD-SDI. На терминальной панели присутствует также порт USB и сетевой разъём Ethernet.<br /><br />В японской рознице новинка повится первого ноября этого года по цене, эквивалентной 7 700 американским долларам. О возможности поставок и сроках начала продаж дисплея на территории США и Европы не сообщается.
