Тогда речь шла исключительно о его японской модификации &#8212; BDR-S05J-BK. Сегодня, спустя неделю после японского релиза, стало известно о скором начале поставок интернациональной версии новой «писалки» Pioneer, которая получила более привычный для нас индекс BDR-205.<br /><br />Напомним, что BDR-205 позволяет записывать BD-«болванки» с двенадцатикратной скоростью. Помимо стандартных записываемых дисков, новинка Pioneer может «прожигать» и BD-носители типа LTH (Low-To-High), оснащенные специальным защитным слоем, повышающим их долговечность, со скоростью 6Х. Также стало известно о рекомендациях производителя, относительно «болванок». В «белый» список попали лишь записываемые BD-диски производства Panasonic и Sony.<br /><br />Технические данные устройства стандартны. Pioneer BDR-205 имеет SATA-интерфейс и предназначен для установки в 5.25-дюймовый отсек системного блока или аналогичный по размеру внешний контейнер. В оснащении «писалки» применена фирменная технология гашения вибраций Low Vibration Mechanism Design, которая не только позволяет улучшить итоговое качество записи, но и служит залогом тихой работы устройства. Помимо Blu-ray, привод может записывать и воспроизводить DVD (DVD+/-R (16x), двухслойные DVD+/-R и DVD+RW (8x), DVD-RW (6x), DVD-RAM (5x), а также CD-R и CD-RW с максимальной скоростью 40х и 24х соответственно.<br /><br />Поставки ОЕМ-версий привода начнутся в октябре. Коробочные версии BDR-205 появятся в рознице в первом квартале следующего года. Рекомендованная цена новинки составит $250.
