Эта система хорошо знакома поклонникам компьютерных игр уже многие годы. Её принцип работы весьма прост. На обычном экране отображается не один, а два кадра, каждый из которых предназначен для просмотра своим глазом — правым и левым. При этом, показываются эти кадры попеременно с максимально возможной частотой кадров. Скажем, для современной плазменной панели — это 120 герц или 60 кадров в секунду для каждого глаза. Очки здесь играют роль своеобразного «разделителя». Синхронизируясь с развёрткой телевизора, посредством кабеля или беспроводного соединения, каждое из стёкол затемняет «картинку» попеременно, тем самым создавая стереоскопическое изображение. Что примечательно, все трёхмерные решения, основанные на этой технологии, требуют максимальной скорости отклика пикселов матрицы, ведь каждый из 120 кадров, отображаемых в секунду, должен быстро и полностью отрисовываться. А это, увы, полностью исключает использование здесь ЖК-телевизоров с их удручающей инерционностью. С их реальными, а не маркетинговыми, шестнадцатью или тридцатью миллисекундами.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2009-09/1254218816_pana3dhd.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='...И Panasonic не отстаёт!' title='...И Panasonic не отстаёт!' /></div><br />Представленная Panasonic плазменная панель, как и следовало ожидать, оснащена дисплеем с разрешением 1920&#215;1080 точек. Согласно опубликованным данным, инженеры компании адаптировали эту модель для просмотра трёхмерного видеоконтента. Для этого были улучшены яркостные характеристики PDP-дисплея, критичные для 3D, и применена фирменная технология, позволяющая нивелировать фантомные изображения, обычно возникающие на стыках контрастных объектов. Но их интенсивность зависит не столько от характеристик дисплея, сколько от очков. Точнее, от их способности максимально быстро затемнять каждое из стекол, не допуская даже минимальной прозрачности. Ранее идеального результата добиться не удалось никому. Но, судя по заявлениям разработчиков Panasonic, они весьма далеко продвинулись в вопросе усовершенствования конструкции очков и свели появление «фантомов» к минимуму.<br /><br />Первый публичный показ новинки намечен на выставке CEATEC JAPAN 2009, которая стартует на следующей неделе. Начало продаж 3D-телевизоров Panasonic, в свою очередь, намечено на 2010 год. О предполагаемых ценах на продукцию этого класса не сообщается.
