Столь впечатляющих характеристик удалось достигнуть, благодаря использованию 45-нм технологического процесса. Примечательно, что процессоры прошлого поколения, работавшие на частоте 833 мГц, позволяли без труда воспроизводить видео высокой чёткости 1080p при 30 кадрах в секунду с выводом полноразмерной «картинки» на внешний дисплей посредством HDMI 1.3. Чип S5PC110 имеет встроенный контроллер USB, внутреннюю память, встроенное графическое ядро с поддержкой 3D, которое может быть использовано в случае, если по каким-то причинам смартфон не может использовать дискретный аппаратный видеоадаптер. Второй процессор получил индекс S5PV210. Он предназначен для использования в компактных нетбуках. Первые серийные образцы этих двух чипов будут доступны в декабре месяце, а их массовое производство планируется наладить в течение 2010 года.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2009-09/1253710524_samsung1.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Карманный 1080p от Samsung' title='Карманный 1080p от Samsung' /></div><br />Кроме того, компания Samsung представила свой новый 5-мегапиксельный КМОП-сенсор SoC (system-on-chip), который получил название S5K4EA. По мнению представителей азиатского индустриального гиганта, его выход станет знаковым для индустрии, приблизив качество видео, снимаемого мобильным телефоном к качеству, доступному ныне лишь дискретным видеокамерам. Согласно спецификациям, S5K4EA позволяет снимать видео с разрешением 1080p при 30 кадрах в секунду. Кроме того, он дополнен модулем автоматической фокусировки и оптической стабилизации. Габариты системы «в сборе»: 8,5&#215;8,5&#215;6 мм. Начало массового производства сенсора планируется на первый квартал следующего года.
