Модель получила индекс BDR-S05J-BK. Как сообщается, помимо стандартных записываемых дисков, новинка Pioneer может «прожигать» и BD-носители типа LTH (Low-To-High), оснащенные специальным защитным слоем, повышающим их долговечность, со скоростью 6Х.<br /><br />Рекомендованная цена BDR-S05J-BK составит около 38 000 йен (эквивалент 280 евро), а появление привода в японской рознице ожидается в конце этого месяца. О возможности и сроках поставки новинки на европейский и американский рынки не сообщается.
