Им стал представитель серии Elite &#8212; BDP-09FD@Blu-ray Disc Player. Этот аппарат призван пополнить «линейку» оборудования Elite@EX Series, куда входят полноразмерные настенные акустические системы, сертифицированные по стандарту THX Select2 и целый ряд AV-ресиверов, поддерживающих THX Ultra2 Plus.<br /><br />Что касается основных технических характеристик, то здесь, вроде, обошлось без сюрпризов &#8212; всё скучно и банально. Аппарат обеспечивает полноценную поддержку видео высокой чёткости вплоть до Full HD 1080p, а также поддерживает «кинотеатральный» режим вывода изображения с частотой 24 кадра в секунду. Как и предписано стандартом, новинка Pioneer совместима с BD-Live (правда, не уточняется какой версии &#8212; 1.0 или 2.0), имеет «на борту» встроенный флэш-накопитель объёмом в четыре гигабайта и оснащён портом HDMI версии 1.3. Кроме того, проигрыватель имеет высококачественный встроенный декодер пространственного звучания, который работает по схеме 7.1 и использует 8 дискретных цифро-аналоговых преобразователей Wolfson. Среди поддерживаемых новинкой форматов многоканального звука, отметим Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio и DTS-HD High Resolution Audio.<br /><br />О сроках появления аппарата в продаже не сообщается. Но, при этом, была озвучена его предположительная розничная цена &#8212; 2200 американских долларов.
