<div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2009-08/1251459124_dts2.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='DTS пошёл «на обгон» Dolby?' title='DTS пошёл «на обгон» Dolby?' /></div><br />По сообщению главного менеджера по лицензированию китайского подразделения компании DTS Райана Лина, в первом полугодии 2009 года, Blu-Ray релизов со звуковыми дорожками DTS было издано больше, чем аналогичных дисков со звуком в стандартах Dolby.<br /><br />Таким образом, согласно озвученным мистером Лином статистическим данным, из 1400 наименований дисков Blu-Ray, выпущенных в США в первом полугодии 2009 года, звуковые дорожки DTS получили 580 изданий, что составляет 41,4% от общего числа. В свою очередь, Dolby Digital «окучили» 480 наименований или 34.3% от всех выпущенных в Северной Америке релизов. Что примечательно, такой успех Райана Лиина связывает с меньшими затратами на лицензирование стандартов у DTS, нежели у Dolby. А вот в это, честно говоря, верится с большим трудом...<br /><br />В секторе же рынка DVD, компания DTS не может похвастать столь впечатляющими результатами. Там, как и прежде, правит бал формат Dolby Digital. Отчасти это обусловлено инерционностью мышления, а отчасти и тем фактом, что Dolby Digital является одним из жёстких стандартов, принятых для DVD.
