Известная в среде компьютерных «маньяков» компания Hercules объявила о выпуске своей первой веб-камеры, поддерживающей видео высокой чёткости. Модель Dualpix HD720p относится к классу компактных мини-камер и, как следует из аббревиатуры, способна снимать видео в режиме 720p. Согласно данным, предоставленным производителем, регулировка поворота камеры осуществляется по двум осям, что упрощает её установку и настройку. Кроме того, Dualpix HD720p оснащена объективом с автофокусировкой, встроенным микрофоном, системой автоматического поворота «картинки» и автоопределения положения пользователя в начале каждой сессии.

Камера Dualpix HD720p имеет встроенный 1-мегапиксельный КМОП-сенсор, позволяющий снимать с разрешением 1280×800 при 30 кадрах в секунду. В режиме фотосъёмки используется интерполяция изображения до пяти мегапикселей, так что имейте ввиду, что этот режим — не честный! Подключение устройства к ПК осуществляется при помощи кабеля с интерфейсом USB 2.0.

Согласно опубликованным данным, данная веб-камера будет совместима с такими программами, как Windows Live Messenger, MSN Messenger Skype, AOL Instant Messenger и Yahoo! Messenger.

Рекомендованная розничная цена новинки в США составит всего 59.99 долларов, а появление её в продаже ожидается в первых числах сентября сего года.
