Согласно данным производителя, новинка способна осуществлять видеозапись в формате 1080p при тридцати кадрах в секунду, но при этом её цена будет весьма и весьма доступной — всего 263 доллара США. Безусловно, столь невысокая стоимость устройства заставит многих насторожиться, но, судя по заявленным спецификациям, производитель не принёс в жертву цене функциональность камеры. DV-535HD оснащена объективом с пятикратным оптическим зумом, КМОП сенсором с разрешением в пять мегапикселей и трёхдюймовым ЖК-дисплеем. Отснятое видео сохраняется в формат AVI для более простого последующего монтажа на персональном компьютере, а запись самих файлов осуществляется на карты памяти типа SDHC ёмкостью до 32 гигабайт. Появление DV-535HD ожидается 11 сентября сего года.
