Компания анонсировала два уникальных устройства — BDP-CX960 и BDP-CX7000ES — плееры Blu-Ray MegaChanger на 400 дисков. А для будущих владельцев объемных Blu-Ray-коллекций есть и доступная сегодня функциональность — поддерживаются форматы DVD и CD. Реализованные технологии соответствуют громкому имени: 7.1-канальный Dolby TrueHD и Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio и DTS-HD Master Audio, порт HDMI. Аппарат поступит в продажу осенью по цене $800.<br />Более «продвинутая» модель — BDP-CX7000ES — отличается от младшей не настолько явно, чтобы оправдать стоимость в $1900 (выпуск заявлен на август). Она имеет интерфейс RS-232 и ИК-порт для соединения с компьютером. Технологии HD Reality Enhancer, Super Bit Mapping и подержка Deep Color призваны улучшить качество выводимого на подключаемый экран изображения. Оба устройства имеют разъем Ethernet, что позволяет подключиться к сервису Gracenote и загрузить метаданные для медиафайлов, обновить встроенное программное обеспечение и получить доступ к контенту BD-Live.
