На сайте можно узнать основные сведения о предложении HD+, о ее руководстве и целях платформы. Платформа HD+ будет официально представлена на выставке IFA. Владельцем платформы HD+ будет компания HD PLUS GmbH, дочерняя компания SES Astra. Офис компании расположен в городе Унтерферинг недалеко от Мюнхена. На старте HD+ в состав платформы войдут телеканалы RTL и Vox в формате высокой четкости. Что касается появления других телеканалов, то в настоящее время ведутся активные переговоры с рядом ведущих компаний мира, с какими именно пока не уточняется. Сигнал платформы HD+ будет закодирован. Более подробную информацию о платформе можно узгнать на официальном сайте www.hd-plus.tv. <br /><br />Спутники Astra размещены в трех орбитальных позициях (28.2°E, 23,5°Е и 19,2°Е), с которых в общей сложности вещают 80 телеканалов в формате высокой четкости. SES владеет 14 спутниками Astra и двумя спутниками Sirius, которые предоставляют сигнал более чем 122 миллионам спутниковых и кабельных домохозяйств.
