Компания Acer заявила, что в 2009 году доля нетбуков в общем объеме поставок лэптопов собственного производства может составить от 15 до 25%.

В нынешнем году вендор рассчитывает поставить 12-15 миллионов мини-ноутбуков, предполагая, что спрос на данную продукцию будет высок. Расчет Acer строится на том факте, что сотовые операторы стали продавать больше нетбуков.

Аналитики компании IDC полагают, что объемы поставок нетбуков преодолеют в 2009 году 20-процентный барьер и составят 26,4 миллиона штук. Другими словами, Acer сохранит за собой статус ведущего мирового производителя мини-лэптопов. При этом доля компании на данном рынке может превысить 50%. Кроме того, Acer питает серьезные намерения в отношении сегмента тонких и легких ноутбуков, в котором вендор предлагает продукты линеек Timeline и TravelMate.

На данный момент тайваньская компания является вторым по величине производителем ПК с рыночной долей 19,7%. При этом HP, удерживающая лидирующие позиции, имеет 22,1% рынка. Однако если рост объемов поставок Acer продолжится, в следующем году этот вендор может обойти своего конкурента.
