Независимая исследовательская компания NPD Group опубликовала рейтинг продаж видео игр в США за май 2009 года.

Самой продаваемой игрой минувшего мая стала игра UFC 2009 Undisputed компании THQ, продажи которой составили 679 600 копий для Xbox 360 и 334 400 копий для PS3 - всего более 1 млн копий. Вторую строчку продаж с 352 800 копий держит Wii Fit. Аналитики отмечают, что даже, несмотря на кризис, продажи игр для консоли Nintendo Wii продолжают ставить рекорды - 5 из первой топовой десятки продаваемых игр выпущены именно для Wii. В целом, 10 самых топовых игр в мае 2009 года проданы в количестве 2,6 млн копий, против 3,7 млн копий годом ранее.

Следует отметить, что Nintendo имеет в списке целых восемь игр, в то время как Microsoft и Sony только по одной игре (Halo 3 и Infamous соответственно).
