Дело в том, что денег, которые просят за этот нетбук, может хватить на полноценный портативный компьютер. К тому же в составе мини-лэптопа применен слабенький процессор Intel Atom Z520 с тактовой частотой 1,22 ГГц, из-за чего работать с некоторыми приложениями и медиаконтентом становится проблематично. <br /><br />По имеющейся информации, Acer может либо полностью снять не пользующиеся спросом нетбуки с производства, либо предлагать их покупателям со скидками. Вместе с тем в качестве альтернативы 11,6-дюймовому мини-ноутбуку, предположительно, будет выпущен ультратонкий портативный компьютер линейки Timeline с той же диагональю экрана. <br /><br />О технических характеристиках будущей модели Timeline информации пока нет; отмечается лишь, что она должна появиться на рынке до конца текущего месяца. <br /><br />Напомним, что сейчас серия лэптопов Timeline представлена модификациями с диагональю дисплея 13,3; 14 и 15 дюймов. Стоимость этих компьютеров на американском рынке колеблется в пределах от $599 до $899. <br />
