Mediaset уже представляет услуги платного ТВ по средствам DTH-платформы Mediaset Premium. Новая DTH-платформа будет доступна на спутнике Hot Bird (13E). Запуск нового сервиса должен способствовать быстрому переходу с аналогового вещания на цифровое в Италии. Пакет каналов новой платформы будет включать в себя: Rai Uno, Rai Due, Rai Tre, Rai 4, Rai Sport, Rai Gulp, Rai Storia, Rai Sport, Italia, Rete 4, Canale 5, La7, MTV Italia, Boing, Iris, Rainews24, BBC, France24, ClassNews, Qoob, Sat2000. Каналы, доступные в рамках этой платформы, будут открытыми, как британская Freesat.<br /><br />Для приема каналов будет необходим декодер со встроенным модулем карт системы Nagravision и сама карта. Карту доступа к просмотру каналов DTH-платформы «TiVu» можно будет купить отдельно, их цена будет очень низкой и не будет иметь даты окончания. <br /><br />После запуска новой DTH-платформы абонентам ""TiVu" станет доступен сервис PPV и канал высокой четкости «RAI HD».
