Он способен проигрывать видео в форматах NTSC и PAL. Кроме того, плеер поддерживает RS-232C и USB 2.0 и предлагает расширенные возможности навигации по меню. Видео проигрывается с частотой смены кадров 30, 25 и 24 кадра/с.<br /><br />Плеер оснащен новой программой GUI, которая улучшает настройку и упрощает работу с плей-листом. Модель имеет 1 ГБ встроенной памяти для хранения загруженных видеофайлов.<br /><br />Модель HD-V9000 обеспечивает 4 продвинутых функции управления, включая удаленное обновление контента, управление настройками плеера и проверку списка проигрывания. HD-V9000 может работать и как устройство для хранения файлов. Он оснащен картами памяти SD/SDHC.<br /><br />Устройство обеспечивает превосходное разрешение и высокое качество видео, проигрывая видео в формате MPEG2 с максимальной скоростью 80 Мб/с и H.264 со скоростью до 50 Мб/с. Способен отображать сообщения пользователя, включая RSS, а также изображения в формате BMP.<br /><br />Pioneer BDP-V6000 появится на рынке в сентябре этого года, Pioneer HD-V9000 HD поступит в продажу в первом квартале 2010 года. Цена на устройства пока не известна.
