Microsoft Xbox 360 получит доступ к Sky TV

Компания Microsoft подтвердила информацию о том, что пользователи игровых консолей Xbox 360, смогут в этом году получить доступ к Sky ТВ по средствам интерфейса 'Sky Player'.

Главным условием доступа к платному телевидению с игровой консоли является уже имеющаяся подписка на каналы Sky или заинтересованность пользователя приставки в подписке на пакеты Sky. Выбор программ будет полностью отражать существующие пакеты каналов сервиса Sky TV.

Преимуществом подобного доступа к сервису Sky является возможность просмотра каналов без необходимости установки спутниковой антенны.

Кроме большого выбора каналов пользователям также предоставлены различные интерактивные функции. Например, при просмотре каналов Sky Sports будет возможность обмениваться сообщениями с другими зрителями в режиме реального времени с помощью широкополосного доступа, а также иметь доступ к различным статистическим данным.

Просмотр HD контента пока не обещают, но вероятнее всего, через некоторое время будет доступно и HDTV.
