Sun Direct начнет вещание HDTV

Индийская спутниковая платформа Sun Direct является первой в стране, которая начала вещать пакет каналов высокой четкости. Первоначально, планируется вещание двух каналов HD. Один канал будет транслировать их на диалекте тамил, а второй – на диалекте телугу. Sun Direct планирует расширить пакет в общей сложности до 8 каналов HD. Sun Direct вещает по средствам спутника Insat 4B (93,5 ° в.д.).
